What is Milkyway Glass?

Milkyway Glass is an art-glass brand famous for deep-carved, sandblasted 3D relief designs - aliens, space scenes, biomechanical patterns, and mythic artwork etched directly into thick borosilicate bongs, dab rigs, and pipes. Each piece reads like sculpture you can actually smoke from.

How is Milkyway Glass artwork made?

The designs are deep-carved into the glass surface using a sandblasting relief technique, then detailed by hand. Because the artwork is cut into the glass itself rather than painted on, it can never fade, peel, or wash off - the texture is permanent and you can feel it under your fingers.

Does carving weaken Milkyway Glass pieces?

No - Milkyway starts with extra-thick borosilicate specifically so the relief carving leaves plenty of structural glass behind. Finished pieces remain heavy, stable daily drivers, not fragile display items.

What designs does Milkyway Glass make?

Signature themes include alien and space motifs, biomechanical patterns, dragons, skulls, and mythology-inspired scenes, released across bongs, dab rigs, hand pipes, and matching accessories. Many designs come in limited runs, so popular pieces sell out and rotate.

Does Milkyway make Puffco attachments?

Yes - Milkyway carves its relief artwork into replacement glass attachments for Puffco devices, turning your Peak into a one-of-a-kind piece. We stock Milkyway Puffco glass alongside the main bong and rig lineup.

How do I clean carved Milkyway Glass?

The same as any borosilicate: isopropyl alcohol with salt or a gel cleaner, then a warm rinse. The carved exterior texture can hold dust over time - a soft brush during rinsing keeps the relief details crisp. The artwork itself cannot be damaged by cleaning since it is cut into the glass.

Is Discreet Smoker an authorized Milkyway Glass retailer?

Yes - every Milkyway piece we sell is authentic, sourced through authorized distribution. Orders ship fast with careful packing in plain, unmarked boxes, and shipping is free on orders over $69.
