Description

Opal terp gemstones are set opal rather than worked glass, which means they hold heat considerably better than borosilicate marbles and throw genuine colour play as they turn in the bucket.

The heat retention is the practical argument: an opal that stays hot keeps working through a longer dab where a glass marble has already cooled.

Specs

Set opal terp gemstones
Better heat retention than borosilicate
For use with quartz bangers
Requires a carb cap to spin

Care

Remove while warm and wipe gently. Avoid long isopropyl soaks with set opals; wipe clean rather than submerging.
