Silicon Carbide Deep Dish

The Silicon Carbide Deep Dish is a 25mm silicon carbide dish top for the MiniNail hybrid nail. It drops into the hybrid nail body you already own, whichever nail that was.

Silicon carbide is dense and hard. It takes heat off the coil and holds onto it through the dab, and it stands up to daily use and cleaning.

🧽 It Wipes Clean

Silicon carbide is smooth at a microscopic level, so residue sits on the surface instead of working its way into it. A swab takes it back to clean rather than scrubbing it back.

It behaves the way a nonstick pan does, with one difference that matters on something you heat every day: there is no coating. The smoothness is the material itself, so there is nothing to wear off or scratch through.

🧩 One Body, Every Dish Top

Every MiniNail hybrid nail is built on the same body. The Titanium Universal Nail, the Quartz Hybrid Universal Nail, the Silicon Carbide Universal Nail, the XL Quartz Hybrid Nail and the XL Silicon Carbide Nail are the same hardware with a different dish top on it.

So the nail you bought is not locked to the material it arrived with. You buy the body once and change what your concentrate sits on whenever you feel like it.

⚠️ Match the Dish to Your Coil

The body takes any dish. The coil is the part that has to match.

This is the 25mm dish, so it runs under the standard Hybrid Heater Coil. Running a 30mm setup? You want the XL Silicon Carbide Dish and the XL Hybrid Heater Coil 30mm instead.

Staying inside one size costs you a dish. Crossing between 25mm and 30mm costs a dish and a coil.

Unscrew your current nail, lift the old dish out, drop this one in and screw it back together. It takes a minute and no tools beyond your hands.

Do it cold. Silicon carbide holds heat well, which is the point of it, and that also means it stays hot longer than you expect after the controller is off.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Recommended range: 400 to 600°F. Start at 500°F, then go up or down 25°F at a time until you find your sweet spot.
• Swab while it is still warm. Easy on this surface either way, quicker while the heat is still in it.
• Check the screw is snug after a few sessions. Heat cycling works hardware loose, and a loose dish does not take heat properly from the body.
